Historic Duet Between JessC & Fauziah Latiff Energizes Launch of Album Dekati

Jessc Fauziah Tak Terpisah

International Asian-Australian singer JessC and Malaysian music legend Fauziah Latiff (Jee) performed their first live duet with the heartfelt song “Tak Terpisah” at the launch of JessC’s latest album, Dekati. The historic moment drew enthusiastic applause from the invited audience.

The event opened with screenings of JessC’s recent music videos, including “Demi Impian”, “Dekati”, “Satu Suara Raya”, “Expose”, and, of course, “Tak Terpisah”, all highlighting themes of love, hope, and unity.

The highlight came when JessC, elegant in a traditional white ensemble, and Jee, dazzling in her signature style, performed “Tak Terpisah” with deep emotional expression. The song conveys the message that differences are not barriers but strengths that bring people together.

Following the performance, fans presented flowers and gifts on stage, creating a touching and intimate atmosphere. Jee even joked about being an impromptu photographer, adding warmth to the event.

JessC shared her long-time admiration for Jee, recalling her previous rendition of Jee’s classic hit “Dia”. “Now my dream of performing a duet with Jee has come true,” she said.

“JessC’s beauty radiates inside and out,” praised Jee. “The song ‘Tak Terpisah’ made me cry the first time I heard it. It’s filled with meaning, conveying love, respect, and human values.”

The Healing Power of JessC’s Music

JessC revealed that many listeners have told her that her music helped them through difficult times, from insomnia to depression. “My music comes from a heart that wants to heal,” she said gratefully.

The duo also announced plans for two more duets, including “Kawan Baik”, which promises a lighter, more cheerful vibe.

At the end of the event, JessC playfully asked Jee, “How would you rate my voice?” The diva laughed and replied, “You’ve grown tremendously, and our voices blend beautifully.”

The show closed with JessC displaying a handmade bracelet given by Jee—a symbol of their genuine friendship. Their collaboration dates back to a decade-old concert when Jee was a special guest, marking the beginning of a lasting musical bond.

Now, Dekati is not only warmly received in Malaysia but is also starting to capture attention in Indonesia, proving that music can unite hearts across nations and cultures.
