From Kuala Lumpur to the World: JessC Concludes ‘My Style World Tour’, Prepares to Open a New Chapter in 2026

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian singer-songwriter Jessie Chung has further cemented her presence on the international music stage after successfully concluding her My Style World Tour.
The final concert, held in her hometown of Kuala Lumpur, marked both an emotional moment and the closing chapter of a global tour that spanned an entire year.
Thousands of fans packed the concert venue and were swept up in JessC’s energetic performance as she delivered nearly 40 songs across five languages: Mandarin, Indonesian, English, Japanese and Cantonese.
The multilingual repertoire reflects her identity as a cross-cultural musician capable of reaching audiences across different backgrounds and regions.
Clips from the performance quickly circulated on social media, sparking lively discussions among music enthusiasts. The enthusiastic response highlighted the growing global appeal surrounding JessC’s artistry.
Although the world tour has officially concluded, JessC’s schedule remains busy. After a brief break, she will return to the stage through musical theatre productions including Butterfly Lovers and Tearless Sky, while preparing several major projects scheduled for release this year.
Looking ahead to 2026
As she moves into 2026, JessC plans to release three new albums in Mandarin, English and Indonesian. The series of releases is expected to be followed by another international tour in the second half of the year.
“Music has always been my way of communicating with the world,” she said. “The positive response to my multilingual releases has given me tremendous confidence. The coming year will indeed be ambitious, but I want to continue sharing emotions across cultures and personally express my gratitude to audiences through the next tour.”
Interestingly, recording for the new project will begin with Indonesian-language songs. The decision was made as a gesture of appreciation for the strong support she has received from Indonesian fans, as well as the close relationships she has built with media outlets and radio stations across the country over the past year.
“Every interaction has felt sincere and meaningful. I want to repay that love through my music, while reminding myself to remain true to my beginnings and keep exploring creatively,” she added.
Her first Indonesian album, Dekati, released last year, received a positive reception in the market. Several tracks including Dekati, Tak Terpisah, Expose and Demi Impian successfully entered Indonesian radio charts, marking an important milestone in her international career.
JessC is currently promoting the final single from the album, Cinta Tanpa Batas, a warm pop track centred on unconditional love. She hopes the song will once again resonate with listeners and strengthen the album’s standing on Indonesian radio charts.
With new releases on the horizon and growing ties with the Indonesian market, the global stage appears set for another ambitious chapter in JessC’s international music journey beginning in 2026.
