JessC’s Homecoming Concert Brings ‘My Style’ World Tour to a Triumphant Close

JessC Mystyle Concert Mega Star Arena

Kuala Lumpur – Malaysian singer Jessie Chung, known professionally as JessC, has concluded her global “My Style” World Tour with a special homecoming concert in Kuala Lumpur.

The celebratory finale drew more than 5,000 fans, who filled the venue and remained captivated until the final encore. As the closing show of the world tour, the production featured an ambitious stage design, complete with a giant LED screen and two extended platforms, creating a dynamic performance space.

The concert’s visual concept centred on “light” as a symbol of hope, woven together with reflective monologues that invited the audience to contemplate love, sincerity and the inner light discovered through music.

Throughout the evening, JessC performed nearly 40 songs in five languages: Mandarin, Malay, English, Japanese and Cantonese, reflecting her reputation as a multilingual artist with a growing international audience.

One spontaneous moment occurred when the Malay ballad “Demi Impian” had to be paused twice due to a keyboard mistake. JessC responded with warmth and humour, apologising to the audience while joking with her bandmate before the show continued smoothly, prompting laughter and applause from the crowd.

During a celebratory gathering after the concert, the singer admitted the homecoming performance had been deeply emotional. She described it as “coming home with a sense of nervousness,” revealing that she nearly became tearful on stage.

“I’m deeply grateful for everyone who loves and supports my music,” she said. “Because of them, I’m able to continue walking this path as a singer. I will always keep this moment in my heart.”

A Landmark Year

The year 2025 marked a significant chapter in JessC’s career. She released albums in Mandarin and Indonesian, as well as an English-language record aimed at expanding her reach into European and American markets.

Her growing international profile also attracted attention from the renowned music publication Rolling Stone, which featured her twice and named her among its monthly “New Artists to Watch.”

Indonesia Emerging as a Key Focus

Indonesia has become one of JessC’s key focus markets. Over the past year, three of her songs — “Dekati,” “Tak Terpisah,” and “Expose” — have entered Indonesian music charts, strengthening her presence in the country’s pop landscape.

“Singing in Indonesian has been an incredibly meaningful journey for me,” JessC said. “The language may be different, but the emotion is the same. Music allows my heart to connect with more listeners.”

Looking Ahead

Following the conclusion of the tour, JessC quickly resumed her schedule with theatre performances and confirmed that 2026 will be another busy year. She plans to release three albums in Mandarin, English and Indonesian, alongside preparations for a new world tour in the second half of the year.

The singer also expressed hopes of welcoming fans and media from Indonesia to attend her future concerts.

Currently, JessC is actively promoting the Malay single “Demi Impian,” a heartfelt ballad built on delicate piano and string arrangements. The song explores themes of sacrifice and unconditional love, delivered through a calm yet emotionally resonant vocal performance that reflects quiet strength even when love does not unfold as expected.
